Now thats really funny thing, it all works now. What I did in the meantime was umounted virtual DVD, mounted another and installed another game (Stalker). Possibly Stalker updated some of wine's windows dll or I dont know what else could have happened. Not that I complain :) So, problem solved, at least for now.
