im actually not doing this for me, im actually doing this for my autistic brother because he collects a large amount of viruses over a short period of time and he simply loves the older games. they will install perfectly in wine, but they refuse to run in anything other than 256 bit mode which i cant do because the proprietary nvidia driver wont let me. im going to try the last option though and see what happens. im really looking for a simple fix so that my brother can play the games easily with a minimal setup.
