It's already fixed in git. This is stated in the Office 2003 entry under "Known Regressions," and there is a big red warning in the Word 2003 entry. My problem was that it would crash on launch. Open a file, click anywhere and Word crashes, restarts, crashes, restarts, crashes ... I also understand that using Office 2003, native riched20.dll is recommended - is this the case, is this documented anywhere obvious? - d.
