Could be a bug in the video drivers as you're using an ATI card. In any case, if the game is still playable besides those graphical glitches, it's probably a bit lower priority to fix. Still, it'd be helpful if you posted terminal output while running the game. It might indicate any graphics-related stubs, warnings or or fixme's related to the graphical problems.
