Got the same problem as J4P4NM4N, except some minor details, in the terminal print:

But in my case it's not only when i launch EVE, but also C&C3. :S
And I didn't have the problem before. But last time, I tried, was in the start of this year(2009), so it could be many thing. :S
But any way, hope my info can help to find a solution...
