A user on the Blizzard forums fixed the issue by downloading and running the installer for Visual C++ 2005 sp1 redistributable (not from winetricks but manually): http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/confirmation.aspx?familyId=200b2fd9-ae1a-4a14-984d-389c36f85647&displayLang=en Worked for me as well.
