ELCouz Big thing everyone has missed is load.  Wine itself is not exactly light.

Take a serious look at winelib and look at slowly converting over to native code.

Stability is partly linked to numbers of parts dependent on.  Less simpler it is to make them higher quality so more stability.

Wine makes a good crutch but for mission critical stuff where you want great stability is only a extra layer of things to cause problems.

Like if a network bug appears how will you know if its wine or something under level.
