I tried to go through the Ubuntu Software Center (since it appears the release there is indeed 1.1.33. Futhermore there could be a conflict between software packages which are not allowed to be installed at the same time. Then I tried to install the Wine (Beta Release)...and it seems to be doing an install. Hrrm...I'll update in a minute.
