One thing I remember with 09 was that the registration process was messy. Oh, and I'm not talking about steam versions here (I'm not sure if those work). > > What happens? Does it simply not open? Post terminal output -- if it is too large use pastebin. I'm guessing that your *initial* problem is the lack of some libraries, which you can get via winetricks. After that it can be an issue with wbemprox.dll and/or others... > > Did you follow the how-to on the AppDB entry? > > Cheers, > > Jorl17 Thank you both for your interest. To be honest, I am kind of a rookie about this linux thing. That's why I asked for instructions:) I am using Ubuntu 9.10. What I did to run FM2010 is that I installed Wine using Package Manager, and then successfully installed FM2010 using my DVD (I have the boxed copy of the game). But after installation when I tried to run the game, some white screen appears instantly and dissappears (I can tell the computer trying it's best, really struggling to run the game though:)) but it then nothing happens and I have to terminate the application. So this is my story. I could run the game on XP, but I don't have a high-end machine, and I read in a forum that the performance slightly raises when playing through wine compared to windows so I decided to give it a go. Anyway, any help is welcome:) Cheers
