Thanks for your reply! I haven't found the how-to, thanks for that, but it still doesn't work.
I'm having trouble doing this:

> k the 'Graphics' tab: make sure that only the following are checked:
> Enable desktop double buffering.

Because I have no idea what it actually is.
And replacing original medieval.exe with noCD cracked one just changes from no CD/DVD rom error to "normal error".
