OK the use of native comctl32.dll fixes my problem. Regarding the demo application which illustrate this: It's a bit hard as the application is a client server application, for it to get to the problem portion, the server portion needs to be there and as such the set up will be complicated. In any case, I will see if I could get hold of a simpler app which could illustrate this. The wine version is 1.1.32. Thanks for your reply.
