Nothing obviously related to sound that I can see in your console output. Experimenting a bit, I've found that sound only works for Powerpoint's builtin sound effects. .wav files can be inserted but don't play, and mp3s can't be inserted at all. Try creating a new presentation and see if the builtin sound effects work.
