oiaohm: Thank you for replying! I couldn't remember your nick, so was hoping you'd chime in on this thread. Is that really the only way? Is there anything I can do in the meantime to try and help diagnose the problem? It seems so odd to me that a vast majority has good luck with Wine + EVE and yet I have a pretty good laptop and am having such a weird issue...
