However, the XQuartz folks have this on the todo list and the major problem is how to display lower resolutions like 640x480 on a non-4x3 screen (most 'modern' Macs are 16x9). The X11 code by CodeWeavers is copywrited so that they have exclusive use of the code and it fixes many problems with X11.app and XQuartz although the XQuartz project is catching up to them. Even with their fixes, you cannot run X11 reliably in full screen mode. James McKenzie
