wine flickers on startup

I am using wine 1.1.29
with autohotkey : http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=17738
but the problem persists even with simpler apps.

Any idea if this might be a configuration issue with my setup, or if its a known issue?
