Have you tried the corefonts or liberation font packs? Corefonts is supposed to fetch a bunch of standard Windows fonts for you, where liberation is supposed to get you a bunch of free & free replacements for them. Also, do you really need the font? Linux comes with much better fixed-width fonts like DejaVu Sans Mono...
