I am using Wine 1.0.1 which is the latest stable version I believe.
Also I had seen the reference to Mdaemon you posted but it basically says that it "works" with no indication of what, if any, configuration was needed.
I also tried the latest Mdaemon v10 which has a free version just to see if it would install but same error msg ("requires Network Interface").
So I am still baffled.
