If you see errors like Code: X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) You can be almost sure there is a video driver problem. Looks like switching to the latest driver didn't work. I suggest that you install envyng from your package manager (if available) - it will help you select and change video drivers. Maybe an older one actually works, or maybe there's an even newer one. If this all doesn't help, you might want to bring back the video card to the store and get one that's sure to work well on Linux. [Rolling Eyes]
