There doesn't seem to be a bug filed for this yet--please file one at http://bugs.winehq.org/ . I was able to get the text to display properly at +/- 90 degrees by rotating it via the text direction menu. Select "more options" then "3-D rotation," and enter either 90 or 270 for the z-axis.
