I guess I spoke too soon. Using the separate WINEPREFIX the window did open winecfg, but when I tried to change to the audio tab to check a setting it crashed, the same way ventrilo does (vent is also giving me the same error: ALSA lib seq_hw.c:457:(snd_seq_hw_open) open /dev/snd/seq failed: No such file or directory
