I don't see any logs in this thread from a clean install in 1.1.26. Delete or rename ~/.wine and run the installer in 1.1.26  without any tweaks.

If there's any problem installing, post the log from running the installer. 

If it installs fine, try to run it; if there's any problem, post that log.
