1. Have you tryied running from a terminal? type in: cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Electronic\ Arts/The\ Lord\ of\ the\ Rings,\ The\ Rise\ of\ the\ Witch-king && wine lotrbfme2ep1.exe -mod ~/.wine/drive_c/rj_rotwk_1_06 2. Try using notepad. Type in a terminal wine ~/location/notepad file.lnk
