Rosetta Stone suddenly stopped working

Hello,

I installed Rosetta Stone 3 yesterday, and it worked perfectly. I ran it several times. When I tried to run it again today, it just crashed at the outset with the following error messages:

I've tried running it several times today but it won't launch anymore. I even tried deleting the ~/.wine directory and reinstalling but that wouldn't help either. I don't remember making any configuration changes (to wine or to the whole system) between the successful and the not-so-successful runs but I may have forgotten something.

This doesn't make any sense to me. I hope somebody has a clue about what might be going on. (By the way, the ALSA lines in the error message are probably a red herring, since I don't get them using the pulseaudio driver but that doesn't seem to affect anything.)

I'm running Wine 1.1.21 under Fedora Core 11 on an AMD64.
