FYI the Lightroom 2.3 installation failed with the latest version of wine (1.1.23).  It looks like it failed to extract some of the .cab files -- which is strange because my system does have 'cabextract' installed (a Linux utility that is capable of extracting Windows .cab files).

Looks like Wine isn't going to work for you right now:
