Thanks to very helpful people I managed to get one of my programs running that did not work under wine 1.1.15. But after upgrading to 1.1.22, the other program I need, which did work under wine 1.1.15 - Speaker Workshop- for which again there is no opensource substitute available, gives me the notice that my soundcard is not compatible (anymore).
