I would suggest to run the game from the terminal to get all wine output. On the other hand, the version that's reported platinum is 0.9.52 so you could try that. Anyway, I would give a shot first to the more recent wine version. You can check which version you are using by going into winecfg. Also, in winecfg there are different sound systems available. You should try changing it. Finaly, there is the infamous PulseAudio issues (see sticky thread), although this usually causes sound quality problems, not lack of a dll.
