Hi Thanks >mdac28 _IS_ odbc. try 'winetricks jet40'. no difference after 'winetricks jet40' I do agree with you that 'mdac28' is enough. I think this is not an error .. because when I installed the app on windows xp, without configuring the odbc, I got the same error/Message BOX. This error only remove after configuring the odbc on windows XP. I think I have to configure the odbc .. I think all components/modules are installed on my system .. just the configuration is left.
