I'm glad you managed to do it! Since you're on Ubuntu, I thought you might want to take a look at this script (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=699332), since it is meant to play games. My experience with it is very positive and I've been using it on all my machines, except for one where the hit of an extra X server really kills the performance. Also, to check your performance in either of the X servers, you can try glxgears :D Good luck, Jorl17
