hi,
the bypass launcher reaches to the point where it changes resolution for the game and then the entire system freezes. I'm only able to move the mouse pointer on the screen.. GUI and keyboard become completely non responsive.
It happens at a point there it is looking for directx:
"fixme:d3d8:ValidateVertexShader" last line was something like this.. not too sure as i need to hard reboot my system after this. however i didnt notice any lines prefixed with 'err:' this time.. but there was a lot of taxt so there could have been a few.
i installed directx using 'winetricks directx9' but there is no difference.. directx is working fine by itself.. dxdiag is as expected.
is there anything else i can try??
Regarding the popup ("Run-time error '429': ActiveX component cant create object.") is there any fix for this?
