I recently got Ubuntu 8.10 for my Compaq Presario v6000 and I got wine, then I tried to install Steam, but there was NO text showing in the installer for Steam. So, I went to the wine config menu, but the same problem was there, too. I'm still very new to linux... Any help would be appreciated.. thanks
