Or all your data will be destroyed. If this program creates it's own partition, you can't emulate that with Wine. You can have some raw disk access but nothing related to file system. And I really doubt your DVR software handles all disk access on it's own. Can you explain why you need a separate partition to begin with? You sure this software can't write into an already created disk?
