so I understand it's now called "Wine Is Not an Emulator", after being called "Windows Emulator" back in the day. anyway -- it's a great piece of software. but I have a question: actually I'll ask by a practical example. say I install 7-Zip under Wine, and archive some things. question is: how will the performances compare to what I'd get under Windows? regards, and thanks in advance for the replies.
