The problem I had appeared to be the 180.22 driver. I posted a thread about it on this forum earlier. http://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=3715 Short version: with the 180.22 driver, I couldn't open any new windows from Steam. This includes running and installing games from the "My Games" menu.
