I'm having a problem with the same family of programs - in my case the Judaic Treasures 2 (Otzrot Yisrael) program. I installed wine, and some of the winetricks repository, and cabextract. The install runs with no problem, but upon running the program, nothing happens. I'm back in XP now, so I can't get a dump.
