Hi, Thanks this is very interesting and is obviously something that I didn't know... So I need Wine running/started in order to run a winelib application i.e. my windows application that is ported to solaris/unix via compilation with winelib? This presents some difficulties since wine does not compile on Solaris, Sparc. Therefore I need to get wine to compile on Solaris in order to proceed further? Thanks Col
