There might be a simpler solution, depending on your application. You might try holding down the <Shift> key, plus the <Alt> key, and then to right-click. This idea works for "PhotoShop 6", and is not a mimicry of Windows VNC-client behavior. Instead, KDE sees an <Alt+Shift> modification as being different from a mere <Alt> modification, and <Alt+Shift> may not be assigned, per chance, as part of your desktop prefs. But in contrast, many Windows apps won't see the <Shift> key when <Alt> is being pressed. Now, you could be out of luck with this DirectX program, in that a <Alt+Shift+R-Click> might have been programmed as even more special than a mere <Alt+R-Click>, but This is really up to each programmer. But you can just try! At the same time, it might be a greater inconvenience for you, to reassign the modifiers for your whole Linux desktop. Dirk
