Dang!! I missed that when I was searching- my bad! I had seen that MathType itself works : http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=5593, and was confused as to why it would work with 2003 in Windows but not Wine. Thanks! This means I have to keep my Windows machine running for now. Dang^2!! :)
