Hi, Microsoft released version 1.1 as a minor update to GDI+. However, they are no longer working on this (except for security bug fixes) as they have the new Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) API. The Wine version is still missing several functions (see http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/?a=blob;f=dlls/gdiplus/gdiplus.spec;h=0faf01beb933873458ef33e220bcb43dc7065790;hb=8d9c4867aed0a6cac2a8f8fc15d95c7d9c85ed72). The methods with "stub" at the beginning have not been implemented yet. Also, see http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/?a=search&h=HEAD&st=commit&s=gdiplus for the activity on the Wine side. Wine translates the GDI+ calls to GDI methods. One thing you could do is to report bugs for the applications that don't work/issues with the applications.
