Wel I did actually, I've tried every hint mentioned there. I even compiled wine 1.1.3 for OSX and retried it. It didn't even help. I can install the game. Yet when I try to launch it (with and without the options) it's giving me an error. I've tried every config possible and still it's giving me an error with it.
