Two things... Unless I missed it.. which game? Second, have you considered upgrading to the latest wine distro? Also, have you searched for the game in AppDB? I'd start there first, and see if there are a bunch of "Garbage" statuses on the version of the game. If it doesn't, see if there are workarounds or how-to's in that games page to see if there is a fix. If not, come on back here :P
