Hi Miciomax

First I would like to thank you for all your posts.

I've installed 2008 on 1.1.0 and it seems more stable than 1.0.

Bright side:
-It loads very fast, almost like in xp.
-Everything seems ok, I have loaded some 3d files 50MB each, and did 3dorbit with all the shading smoothly
-I can plot to my Designjet ;)

Dark side
TTF fonts painfully slow are still there.
.Net doesn't work, so you don't have layers dialog
Crashes when help tips appear, resolved by (tips wont appear)

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R17.1\ACAD-6001:409\Profiles\<<Unnamed Profile>>\Drawing Window]
"MoreHideWarningDialogs"=dword:00000200

There are some random crashes, ie when you are in 3dorbit and do right click to change the visual style or the customize option. (you can change the visual style via menu and it works fine)

Do you have .NET working on Ubuntu wine? It could be an especific problem of Darwine (I've tried with a simple .net app and it doesn't work either).
I have followed some bugs about how to make .net work (not only install), but they seem old and they confused me more.
Do you have any idea on this? I think we could upgrade autocad 2008 to silver or gold if this issue was solved.
