Speaking as someone who uses the mailing list and hates forum interfaces, I actually hate using Google Groups more. It's not clear why they can't do for Usenet what they did for email, but they've comprehensively failed to. Not to mention that Google Groups does not automatically equal Usenet, as Google Groups' unwillingness to deal with spammers has led to what's left of Usenet frequently dropping all posts via Google. Forums may break threading, etc. This is a problem to be fixed in the software, not by getting rid of a whole new bunch of end-users that the Wine project can finally hear from. - d.
