I just got Ubuntu 8.04 and i have wine1. I'm having the same problem and i've been trying to get sound working on steam games like TFC. How would i go about configuring alsa? I try to configure sound in wine but it gives me the same error that it cant find an audio device. please help. i love ubuntu and i want every reason not to go back to windows!!!
