Have you created the symbolic link from /dev/ttyS0 to ~/.wine/dosdevices/com1? ln -s /dev/ttyS0 ~/.wine/dosdevices/com1 And are you sure that your user has read/write permissions on that device under Linux? 73 de N0YKG (I think this is something that is missing from winecfg, and should be added fairly quickly after the 1.0 release - a UI to set up serial devices.)
