performance drop in WoW on rc3

In RC2 I had frame rates of 40 - 60, now I get 10 - 30. Anyone else have this issue?

Distro: Kubuntu 8.04 Hardy
kernel: 2.6.24-17 generic
ram: 2 gb DDR2 667
gpu: nVidia Geforce 7600GO 256 PCI-e
driver: nVidia 169.12
