I've tried just launching the plain gw.exe without triggers, without luck. It displays the GW mouse pointer, but the game screen does not appear, and I am unable to interact with X (Even alt+tab switching) so it forces me to restart X manually. The -no switches were suggested on numerous other sources I looked at, but it does not work without them either. I have also made the appropriate changes to winecfg. I attempted to install wine1.0-rc1, but wasn't able to use ABS to compile it (Arch Linux jargon) due to the hyphen(-) in the package name. The ABS tool doesn't seem to like it.
