I don't make that much use of Wine but do sometimes need real MS Word, and sometimes like to play some of the games on the shockwave.com site. However, there have been a number of upgrades recently to Wine and these have now stopped working with the following symptoms: Office: Running applications from an existing install says "This application must be installed to run. Please run Setup from the location where you originally installed the application." - also a fresh install fails as stated in another thread. Shockwave: Calling up www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome in Firefox works, but if I try to access a game from the site, the logo appears with the message that Shockwave Player is now installing, but it does not proceed any further. This is with the latest Shockwave and has also been tested on a fresh install.
