As I said, to enable hardware cursor DON'T use OpenGL (if you added SET gxApi "opengl" to config.wtf then remove it). That way WINE will use X.org's cursor and it will be a full speed, however, the game will have a small-to-significant FPS loss, it depends on your specs.
