It doesn't matter which windows app I run first. It works once after a full restart and then that app or any other will not work again without getting the blank screen. Note: I have been running quicken on Wine for 6 months without a hitch so I doubt it's a compatibility problem. Happens with Notepad from the system menu as well. --Tony
