Hi, I'd like to start by thanking you for your quick responses. I was finally able to resolve the problem by copying the CDs to my HD. And it worked! However, now a new problem cropped-up. After launching the game, with the "splash-screen" showing, my screen turns black for a few seconds, then it is resized, then it returns to the desktop, with an error saying: "Age of Empires III has encountered an error and needs to be closed..."
